Losing Truth (aka Damiano Petrucci) is a Multimedia Artist with more than 10 years of experience in the world of Visual Arts and Music.

• In 2020 he graduated with honour in “Electronic Music and Digital Audiovisual Composition” at “Conservatorio Licinio Refice” in Frosinone.
• In the same year he won several awards around the world with his first experimental short films “Losing Truth” and “Disconnection Point”.
• In 2021 he signed a distribution agreement with Siberia Distribution for his work “When The Snow Will Melt”.
• In November 2021 he won Artivis(mo) contest producing his short film “One Day All Of This Will Be Yours” in 72 hours only (as requested by the organizators).
• With the same short film he won the 10th edition of Ariano International Film Festival (“AIFF Green – Best Documentary”).
• In 2022 “When The Snow Will Melt” has been released on WeShort, the On Demand platform for short movies.
• In 2023 he won “Ferrara Film Corto Festival” (Main Category “Ambiente è Musica”) with “One Day All Of This Will Be Yours”.
• In 2024 he releases “Under a New Light”, a short film which features a mixture of 3D animation, VFX and live action footage which is now being distributed by Tersite Film.
• In the same year he graduates with honour in “Digital Audiovisual Composition” at “Conservatorio Licinio Refice” in Frosinone with a thesis about managing thecnology in indipendent cinema.

He’s interested in the relationship between sound and pictures, in CGI, VFX and Sound Design. It’s aim is avoiding an exclusively technological approach to art and letting important themes and emotions shine through the art itself. He’s now teaching both Audiovisual and Electroacoustic Composition at Conservatorio Lorenzo Perosi in Campobasso.
